The second one can be "of" too.

Asset有几个解释：（1）[单项]财产；（2）宝贵的人（或者物）。
Assets 资产，财产。例如：statement of assets and liabilities资产负债表

property（你打错了词啦 [s:2] ，提醒一下）的解释：（1）财产，资产，（房）地产。（2）财产权，所有权。（3）性质，性能，特性，特征。（4）（戏剧或电影的）道具。
常用词汇：personal property动产  real property不动产

从上面的解释看，两个单词再第一项解释的时候有非常相似的地方。不过，asset是会计上面常用的词汇而property就极少用了。property更侧重于实质上面和法律认定方面的。asset更多的是概念和抽象的。其他解释差别就相当大啦，相信不会混淆。另外注意的就是固定搭配问题啦。
